Step 1 of 41. Tournament basics
2. Select players
Choose from the 60 most recently active registered players. Each player can only be selected once.
3. Tournament format
Only supported formats can launch. The scheduling engine is not replaced by this wizard.
4. Review & Launch
Scoring — confirm before launch
Exactly four players serve in each match. Rallies = serves per player × 4; changing either field updates the other.
Championship points — confirm before launch
Each player also earns one championship point for each rally their team wins. A match win adds the win bonus; a draw adds the draw bonus to every player. These are not rallies.
Recommended scoring plans
Launch validates your registered players, generates fixtures, checks fairness, publishes them, then opens score entry.

How It Works
This page describes the current tournament scoring and viewing rules.
Who manages a tournament?
Only the authorised administrator creates fixtures, records and corrects match scores, and closes tournaments. Spectators can browse published tournaments and see results without signing in.
How are points calculated?
Each player receives one championship point for every rally won by their team, plus the tournament's configured bonus for a match win. A draw earns the configured draw bonus for each player; a loss earns no bonus. See the Tournament Rules & Scoring block beneath each leaderboard for that tournament's saved settings.
How are players ranked?
In championship mode: championship points, most match wins, highest rally difference (rallies won minus rallies conceded), then most rallies scored. If all four remain equal, players share the same finishing position. Social mode uses average championship points per match as its primary ranking.
When are medals awarded?
Medals appear only after an official result is verified. Equal first-place players both receive gold, and the next position is third, with no silver. Equal second-place players share silver; no bronze is awarded. Live leaderboards remain provisional.
How the Fairness Report is calculated
The report measures the generated schedule, not match performance. Every value is calculated from the saved fixtures, courts and session times.
Matches per player: the number of fixtures in which each player appears. Championship schedules require equal matches and equal scheduled rallies for every player.
Partner spread: for every possible pair of players, count fixtures where both play on the same team. Subtract the smallest count from the largest.
Opponent spread: for each possible pair of players, count fixtures where they play on opposite teams. Subtract the smallest count from the largest.
Unused slots: the court-and-time-based available match slots minus scheduled fixtures, never less than zero. Match duration includes changeover.
Longest play/rest streak: the longest consecutive series of scheduled fixture positions in which a player is playing, or sitting out, when fixtures are ordered by session, wave and court.
Partnership and opponent matrices: the number of shared-team and opposing-team meetings between each pair of players. Each pair is counted once for the fairness spread.
Fairness classification: “fully balanced” means equal match and rally opportunity with both spreads equal to zero. “Equal opportunity / imperfect rotation” means equal matches and rallies but unequal partner or opponent rotation. Unequal opportunities are described as social-mode only; championship publication requires equal opportunity.
Why might a schedule be imperfect?
The scheduler seeks equal match opportunities and varied partners and opponents. Player counts, courts and available time can prevent every player from partnering or opposing every other player equally. The Fairness Report shows the measured differences.
Early finishes and cancellations
A normally completed tournament is verified against all scheduled scores. For an early official result, at least three counted matches per player and an equal-opportunity completed-match subset are required. Scores outside that accepted subset remain in the record but do not decide its champion. Cancelled tournaments have no champion and do not appear in public tournament lists.
Historical results
Published scoring settings belong to the tournament and must not be replaced with later defaults. The leaderboard and recorded matches remain available for review.
The public Player Lookup shows registered profiles. Career results include only tournaments explicitly linked to a player’s permanent identity. Historical names are not automatically merged. Bonuses never count towards career rally totals.
